STEM workshop @Westacre

Twelve children from Year 4, spent the morning at Westacre Middle School, taking part in an exercise themed STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) workshop.

The children looked at the heart and lungs using virtual video glasses, measured their pulse before and after exercise, created a fair test to investigate how a ball bounces on different surfaces and designed and made a model to get a marble to bounce into a cup.

The children had great fun and were all presented with a certificate at the end of the morning.

The children were a credit to Ombersley First school. Well done!
