Lost and Found

We have found out who all the things belong to! They belong to a small boy who found a penguin on his doorstep. We have been helping the small boy find out all about Antarctica and we emailed him with what we had found out.

We have found out lots of interesting information – where Antarctica is, why it is so cold, what is the temperature there, what you need to take with you if you go and how to get there.

One morning we thought we were in Antarctica!

But it was just Ombersley! So we went out to make some snow sculptures in Andy Goldsworthy style. Unfortunately it wasn’t the right sort of snow! But we had fun anyway!

Then we made our own iceberg with an ice balloon and did lots of exciting science investigations with ice.
